This complex project in a live environment included the complete refurbishment of all circulation and break out areas across six floors. Works had to be micro-phased and carried out on a 24/7 programme to ensure the safe delivery prior to the recommencement of the academic year. Works comprised the removal of all floor finishes in circulation areas and stair cores and replacement of same. All concrete finished walls required specialist cleaning and all power points mounted to suit new configurations. Townmore removed existing furniture in a phased strategy throughout the works, refurbishing antique tables and introducing new seating, electronic lockers and three-hold bins.
